Communication Officer

For one of our clients we are looking for a Communication Officer. Our client is a French company specialized in insurance and asset management services. Today, it is one of the world's leading insurance companies with over 100 million customers in more than 50 countries.


The Communication, Branding & Sustainability Team is looking for a Communication Officer.

Specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Develop a creative and authentic communications strategy to place the sustainability achievements of the company in the spotlight by means of a 360 ° structured communications approach.
  • Launch innovative initiatives (write attention-grabbing news articles, attractive Social Media posts, appealing video clips, vlogs, etc.) to promote our team achievements to internal and external stakeholders, and do all this in an authentic manner.
  • The communications monitoring of various sustainability projects.
  • Lead commitment actions for the internal communications community. Maintain the continuous alignment to and compliance with the communication rules and worldwide standards of the Group.
  • Actively search out news by acting as internal journalist and making use of our governance newsroom.
  • We expect you to draw up and roll out positioning plans for Executives to improve their internal and external exposure and image on Social Media. This also means: perform these plans day-by-day, write texts, look for images, act as expert on the subject, assist and coach the executives involved in their Social Media positioning, and provide services as end-to-end campaign manager. Promote the image of the company and protect them reputation.

For this, you work closely with colleagues from top management, the business, marketing, distribution and HR in the area of internal and external communication.

Your profile

  • You are a creative digital native who does everything to create and execute unforgettable communication experiences.
  • You have a very good command of general communication skills: a fluent, enthusiastic pen, newshunting, copywriting, creation of videos (journalist and editor), speechwriting and the development of innovative Social Media content.
  • You can fan enthusiasm and communicate easily - both in spoken and written word - perfectly in Dutch and easily in French and English.
  • You have a diploma in communication and initial experience in several (at least 3) of the following areas: internal communication, external communication, social media content, reputation management, crisis communication, creative design, copywriting, marketing, employer branding, etc.
  • You possess well developed social skills. Team spirit and a positive attitude are extremely important. You are a born networker and can easily build up relationships. You are diplomatic by nature.
