We are actively looking for an HR Business Partner for one of our clients, a major player in the insurance and reinsurance industry. The company has a solid reputation for expertise and customer service. Our client is present in several countries around the world and has a strong presence in the European market.
Description
You will be reporting to the Head of Human Resources and the Country Manager Belgium and be an active member of Belgian leadership team.Your role :
- Being a present local HR Business partner, work closely with the country manager and leadership team, support on all employee life cycle topics
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands and grievances.
- Supporting the managers and employees to build knowledge utilising HR tools and platform
- Actively using and supporting HR Analytics, reporting and data
- Being a member and first point of contact for the Workers Council
- Collaborating with HR services team to ensure high quality employee experience and providing expertise on legal subjects
- Working closely with HR Experts in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Rewards to ensure optimal local implementation and business support
- Leading cyclical programs such as performance review cycle, salary review, bonus, promotions, calibration, recognition, budget and incentives.
- Leading cross-country projects on different HR topics
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve the processes, procedures and support provided to the business in the different AISE countries and as part of the HR team
- Nurturing a positive working environment
Your profile
- You know your way in the Belgian labor law environment and HR best practices
- You have acquired a minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist;
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- You are HR systems savvy and analytical mindset
- You are responsible, structured and results oriented;
- You have developed good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
- You have excellent verbal and written knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
