Digital Event Officer

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Digital Event Officer. Our client is a French company specialized in insurance and asset management services. Today, it is one of the world's leading insurance companies with over 100 million customers in more than 50 countries.

As Digital Event Officer, you will be responsible for the operational execution of events, both digital and physical. You work within the "Distribution" department and contribute to the commercial animation of brokers, sales representatives, partners and B2B customers.

Description

Your responsibilities:
  • You will participate in the organization of small to large scale events. You manage these projects from their development to their realization. In concrete terms, this means that you will find a venue for your event, send out invitations, encode order forms and also ensure follow-up (and intervene if necessary). To do this, you use your internal and external network.
  • You use the Eventsair tool to track and manage actions and events.
  • The organization of webinars is part of your tasks. You are familiar with the framework of such a format and how to make it a success.
  • You create websites for events where appropriate.
  • You create films: from shooting to editing. Then you put that film on online platforms to create the right brand image.
  • You collaborate with the purchasing department during negotiations with suppliers.
  • You help your colleagues to use Coupa (accounting system); booking information, following up invoices, etc.
You are the reference person for everything digital in the team (movies, Eventsaire, Coupa, Excel,...), in addition to the more traditional aspects of the Event Officer job.

Your profile

  • You have a Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • You are a "digital native"; you love new technologies, you are aware of new trends and you are looking for ways to use them effectively in your work.
  • You have knowledge and experience with Cousa and Eventsair software.
  • You know Excell like the back of your hand; pivot table & mail merge have no secrets for you.
  • You are trilingual FR/NL/EN
  • You also have a sense of commerce, empathy, persuasion and challenge.
  • You are also willing to work flexible hours.

Offer

Our client is located in the center of Brussels and offers :
  • A permanent contract
  • An attractive gross salary, supplemented by personal discretionary and collective bonuses and - of course - meal vouchers and ecocheques.
  • With 35 days off per year to recharge your batteries after your enthusiastic efforts, work from home, sports facilities and training, we make sure that you stay in top shape professionally, physically and mentally.
