One of our clients, active in the energy sector, is actively looking for a Logistics Operator.
Description
In this role, you are responsible for:- Planning and carrying out the logistic operations of the contracts
- Transmit loading information to the sites (appointments in SAP, to third parties, ...) and keep the software constantly updated
- Appointing quality/quantity inspectors and ensuring compliance with instructions, invoicing and the execution of the services requested
- To establish the requests for chartering of barges and boats with the concerned department
- To follow the customs dimension of the flows
- Be the privileged contact of the customers on the contracts you will be in charge of during and after working hours - Be the correspondent of the back office for all the questions of loaded / unloaded quantities, SOX controls, as well as the contact of the demurrage service for any request on the realized trips
- Keep the operating manual up to date
- Archive all documents related to a trip in compliance with the standards in force
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or relevant experience
- Good language skills in French and English
- Ability to organize efficiently, even in a disrupted environment
- Ability to work in a team
- Availability, reliability, autonomy, adaptability and transversality
- Good knowledge of the logistic and product possibilities of the sites
- Good customer relations, able to defend the interests of the group in a depressed refining context while maintaining a strong commercial relationship
- Open mind and ability to manage high stress situations
- Ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds, internally/externally, in a structured way
