Office manager

Our client, a law firm located in Brussels, is actively looking for a dynamic and versatile Office Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the administrative and commercial support to the Managing Partner and the lawyers. In addition to the usual tasks related to the organization of meetings and events, as well as the administrative support in the files, you will play an important role in the marketing activities of the firm.
You will also collaborate with the Finance Manager, as a back-up, and supervise a part-time Office Assistant.
You will report primarily to the Managing Partner but also to the other partners of the firm in their respective areas of responsibility: marketing, HR, training, library, etc.


The primary responsibilities of the position include:
  • General administrative support: opening of files, support of lawyers and Finance Manager in their respective administrative tasks;
  • Business Development & Marketing support: database management (clients and prospects), updates of the firm's website, mobile application and LinkedIn page, organization of seminars and other client events, participation in various business development projects;
  • Creation and layout of documents, newsletters, presentations, sales brochures;
  • Practical organization of various internal activities and seminars;
  • Office organization: stock management (office supplies) and archive management;
  • First point of contact for the firm to ensure a professional reception of clients; reception of clients during meetings and seminars organized in the office.

Your profile

  • You preferably have a diploma in office management/secretariat (or equivalent experience);
  • You have at least one first experience in an administrative function;
  • You are comfortable and open to learning new software;
  • You have a very good spelling;
  • You like versatility and are able to move quickly from one task to another
