Senior Auditor / Accountant

Description

• Coaching, supervision of and technical assistance to junior members of the audit team, including project-based performance reviews
• Understanding our clients' risk and control processes
• Mapping of business and control risks within the audit universe and subsequent development of a relevant control strategy
• Assessing and benchmarking management assumptions and estimates against their relevance, appropriateness and compliance with applicable regulations
• Understanding the design and efficiency of entity financial records and identification of implemented controls related to all financial systems and flows
• Assessment of the adequacy and design of the organizational structure in light of audit findings and segregation of duties
• Advanced financial analysis - historical and forecasting - taking into account budgets and operational data, including key performance indicators.
• Process mining and advanced data analysis and data mining related to accounts, records and portfolio.
• Regulatory compliance analysis - IFRS/BGAAP, economic law, corporate law, ...
• Contribute to consulting projects according to capabilities and specific interests.
• Develop service proposals and initiate contacts with potential and existing clients
• Perform ad hoc assurance and other related assignments

Your profile

• You hold a Master or Bachelor degree - for example in (Commercial) Engineering, (Applied) Economics, Mathematics, Law
• You have experience in an audit environment
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• You speak and write at least 2 of the following languages fluently: Dutch, French, English
• You have expertise in financial analysis and audit regulation
• You can explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable way to junior members of the team
• You have team spirit, leadership and are competent to build client relationships
