Our client is a leading global custodian bank and securities services provider. Its core business is to provide asset owners and managers with a range of custody, clearing, and settlement services for all types of assets, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and alternative investments. The company also offers fund administration, middle-office services, and collateral management solutions to institutional investors, banks, brokers, and other financial institutions. As Fund Accountant, you are in charge of the portfolio evaluations and the calculation of the NAV of our clients’ funds and the production of related reporting going out to clients, fund managers and authorities. You fully understand all operational and financial risks linked to the job. You play an active role in optimizing processes.
Description
- NAV Calculation and Reporting;
- Calculating and controlling NAV;
- Checking automated transactions flows and, when needed, manually booking transactions;
- Overseeing all elements having an impact on the NAV : stock prices, interests on bonds and cash accounts, exchange rates, corporate actions etc.;
- Reconciling cash accounts and portfolios with the Depositary Bank;
- Providing reporting to clients, financial authorities, auditors, etc.;
- Team spirit and client focus;
- Maintaining good relationships with our clients and counterparts and answering their specific requests;
- Participating in the organization by taking initiatives and committing to projects;
- Escalating all issues and outstanding work to the hierarchy.
Your profile
- Client focus;
- Analytical mindset;
- Knowledge of financial products;
- Ideally a degree in accounting or a master in finance;
- You are fluent in English and Dutch or French;
- You regularly work with Excel and Access;
- You show good client focus skills and you always aim for high quality;
- You have a strong sense of priorities and a knack for organization;
- You respect compliance rules, you follow instructions and procedures;
- You are flexible and rigorous in all situations.
