Description
As Procurement Officer, you will report directly to the Group Procurement Director.Your main responsibilities will include:
For Locations in Belgium:
- Management of Purchasing Requests (created by requestors/ business), and creation of Purchase Orders in SAP. Maintenance of prices and negotiated conditions in SAP.
- Communication with Suppliers for Purchase Order Follow-Up and management of price deviations.
- Management of Supplier Catalogues.
- Follow-up and Management of Supplier Contracts in Contract Database.
- Continuous improvement by Digitalization and Automation of purchasing, contracting and invoicing flows.
- Act as Junior Buyer; request supplier offers and perform negotiations with suppliers for some well-defined purchasing categories.
- Collaborate with Procurement Managers for Tenders and Contract Negotiations.
- Management SAP Master Data of Suppliers.
- Participate in Procurement Projects and initiatives (SAP migration, catalogues, contract database, End-User Trainings).
Your profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent by experience in similar position.
- Strong Communication skills and Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
- At ease with all MS Office Tools.
- Experience in Procurement process and/or SAP MM are appreciated.
- Good analytical skills.
- Takes initiatives and problem solving mindset.
