For our client, a private banker in Antwerp, we are looking for an employee who will be responsible for the execution and/or support of all 'Accounts & Customers'. Description
- Is responsible for the registration and maintenance of customer data, such as opening, checking and closing customer files, as well as changes regarding addresses, e-banking access, bank cards, interest rates, signature authorizations, customer profiles, etc.
- Is responsible for the input and control of the supplied documents and instructions for the sake of correct set-up and maintenance of the files and accounts in accordance with CAAML guidelines and Belgian Legislation.
- Provides advice to Front Office employees on processes and documentation requirements and proactively informs these employees.
- Operational processing of contracts related to e-banking and bank card systems in order to ensure predetermined quality objectives.
- Correctly and timely resolution of client inquiries and problems regarding account file, e-banking and bank cards (second line).
- Assists with the formatting of new procedures, work instructions, roadmaps and SOPs ("standard operating procedures").
- Escalates technical problems or system improvements and helps analyze the problem and possible 'logging' of the problem according to the calibrated procedure.
- At the request of the team leader, the employee periodically analyzes and checks the rates, conditions and parameters of customers in order to identify any necessary adjustments and/or corrections in a timely manner and in consultation with the 'Relationship Manager' and operational departments concerned.
- Ensures the monitoring of the customer and bank data through regular checks and agreed clean-up exercises (using control queries and dual control), so that the bank is also protected from damage (such as erroneous interest and cost calculations).
- At the request of the team lead, provides input for the reporting format of statistics on opening, maintaining and closing of accounts, e-banking, bank cards, internal accounts and of key controls in order to provide the necessary information to other Business Units and management to make decisions.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
- You have general banking knowledge and thorough knowledge of banking systems
- You master the Dutch and English language in word and writing and have basic knowledge of French
- You can work well with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access
- You put the client's interests first, anticipate their needs and give high priority to service
- You have a proactive attitude and are very accurate, stress resistant and flexible
- You are a critical and positive team player
