Description

As an Underwriter Financial Lines, your responsibilities include:

• Risk Assessment: Analyze risks related to your clients' financial liabilities and evaluate based on the information provided to determine potential losses or liabilities;
• Review insurance applications: Review insurance applications and related documentation to determine whether or not a company qualifies for certain coverages;
• Developing and pricing policies: Determine policy terms and pricing based on risk assessment and underwriting guidelines;
• Manage policy renewals: Monitor policies and manage renewals, adjusting terms and pricing as needed to accommodate changes in risk;
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to grow the business and retain existing clients;
• Work with other departments within the insurance company, such as the claims and legal department, to ensure policies are properly underwritten and managed;

Your profile

• You have a bachelor's degree in an economic or legal field;
• You have a first experience in the insurance sector or in a technical-commercial function;
• You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and English and can also communicate fluently in French;
• You have a strong analytical and commercial background;
• You communicate fluently with your colleagues and broker contacts;
• You have an excellent knowledge of Excel.
