Claims Performance Analyst & Business Solutions

Description

You wear 2 hats:

• First, you analyze the claims management processes as well as the business and financial KPI's in order to do operational reporting. This is to identify trends, bottlenecks and other performance issues;
• Then, you propose improvement solutions to the business, you challenge the department managers on the solutions to be implemented in order to remedy these identified problems;
• Depending on the feedback from the internal teams, you adapt your solution proposals to be as close as possible to the reality and the needs;
• This analysis will focus on an Insurance Claims matter (this can be: Major Claims, Recourse, Fraud, Bodily Injury, or any other Property & Casualty matter);
• You develop your knowledge in terms of centralized Capacity Management in order to ensure the back-up of the manager on this activity;
• You participate with other team members in the Claims Transformation (e.g. implementation of new reporting/dashboards and training);
• You participate in a range of more in-depth ad-hoc analyses at the request of management and/or the business.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics / economics / IT / insurance / business;
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a performance management, performance analyst or business analyst function;
• You have an excellent knowledge of French or Dutch, with a good knowledge of the other language (you are able to understand the needs of a department manager during a meeting). You also have a very good knowledge of English;
• You have a great capacity of analysis, even when it concerns a domain you don't know much about: you are curious, you like to go through working methods in order to identify things to improve;
• At the same time, you are assertive and diplomatic: you like to synthesize your results and you propose solutions for improvement in a way that is understandable to the various stakeholders;
• You like to work with numerical and computerized data (use of data available from different tools/systems, data crunching, ...) ;
• You are autonomous, solution and result oriented, you are customer oriented as there are many stakeholders;
• You are fluent in Excel, PowerBI and Access;
• Experience in this type of position in the insurance sector is an asset.
