Description

• Complete management of own claims files from initial notification to reimbursement and closure of the file, whether or not after exercising recourse:
• Analysis of elements/facts after claim notification, correct entry of new claim files in an internal system based on data received from insured and/or broker;
• Appointing and directing an expert if necessary and further follow-up in consultation with broker;
• Internal reporting of important claim files to the production department, management, head office and in-house risk management team;
• After settlement of the claim, assessing the merits of the claim and, if necessary, initiating and proactively following up recovery actions against liable parties.
• Management (coordination, follow-up, etc.) of claims files related to local policies within the framework of international insurance programs. Maintaining contacts with colleagues worldwide in order to identify possible problems with the aim of optimizing claims management;
• Preparation and discussion of claims statistics in support of the production department with a view to renewing policies;
• Proactive follow-up of open claims files.

Your profile

• Master/Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Property damage management and related risks
• You have an excellent knowledge of French, Dutch & English;
• Excel has no secrets for you
• You are a team player who can work independently
• You work accurately with a sense of analysis
• You are eager to learn and open to innovation
• You are motivated and stress resistant
