File manager

Description

As a file manager, you will be responsible for :

• Autonomously processing files in a correct manner and within the predefined standards (SLA) ;
• Reading and interpreting statutes in order to gather the necessary legal information ;
• Collecting and entering tax data ( Qualified Intermediary, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, Common Reporting Standard, ...) ;
• Review and/or validation of documents and creation and amendments of legal entities ;
• Provide telephone and written support to the Front Office for processing files.

More specifically, you will :

• Be responsible for the operational handling of files, both standard and combined and complex files and this for various types of clients ;
• End-to-end processing of files taking into account the transversal aspect of the bank ;
• Implementing the regulations of the compliance, legal and tax departments;
• Finding the right balance between the legal obligations and a quality service to the clients and this within the set deadlines and service standards ;
• Proactively inform and advise on identified and upcoming changes that may impact clients and their business ;
• Interpreting, responding to and meeting the questions, needs and interests of both internal and external clients (what does the client want versus legal framework, ...) ;
• Apply the most appropriate solution tailored to the customer ;
• Understand the technological and operational processes within the bank and be able to assess the impact of actions taken on the customer and/or other services ;
• Think critically when handling files.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree ;
• You have a first experience (a plus) ;
• You have an interest in legal and tax aspects ;
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office ;
• You are analytical, autonomous and proactive ;
• You are solution-oriented, structured and a team player.
