Key Account Manager Liability

Description

• In the Brussels - Walloon region, you will visit hospitals and other medical structures (professional circles, nursing homes, etc.) in order to answer their needs and their questions about products and rates;
• You work on group policies for Professional Liability for doctors & Operating Liability for health care institutions. You also propose all other (group) policies to doctors;

For example, you are able to advise a financial director or a medical director of a university hospital on legal questions concerning the prescription of criminal liability or the possibility of cumulating the limits of objective and operational liability coverage, ...

• You canvass the professional associations of the medical sector to create a collaboration in insurance matters and you organize information sessions with the managers and members of these associations;
• You carry out information and prospection sessions in universities, colleges and schools;
• You prepare these visits and coordinate your work with the internal departments (production, claims, marketing, legal, etc.), with whom you then follow up on the ongoing files;
• You actively collaborate with all colleagues in the Sales & Marketing department;
• You carry out urgent assignments in support of the internal departments (risk inspection for acceptance, settlement of claims, collection of unpaid premiums, etc.);
• You prepare a report after each visit and report to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Your profile

• You have a Master's degree (or a Bachelor's degree and more years of work experience);
• You have a category B driver's license;
• You have about 10 years of experience as an Underwriter / Claims / Non-Life technical insurance;
• You have the ambition to become an expert in Medical Liability,
• Knowledge of the Belgian health care sector would be an asset;
• Knowledge of public tender legislation would also be a plus;
• You are able to work both in a team and independently;
• You are customer and result oriented: a hands-on mentality is essential;
• Excellent knowledge of French with a good knowledge of Dutch.
