Description

The function includes a technical approach to claims in order to achieve an efficient settlement and involves regular external visits to clients, brokers, adjusters and co-insurers.

• You evaluate policy coverage;
• You evaluate the liability;
• You negotiate with brokers, end clients and third parties;
• You are the contact person for lawyers;
• You act as a representative of other insurers/power of attorney.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Insurance or equivalent through demonstrable experience;
• Previous experience of minimum 3 years in claims handling;
• Good oral and written skills, both in Dutch and French, knowledge of English is a plus;
• You have a commercial and communicative spirit as well as a negotiating mind;
• You have strong analytical skills;
• You are pragmatic, proactive and you like to work independently without constant supervision.
