Financial Crime Compliance Officer
The Compliance team ensures adherence to applicable regulations and standards by setting the policies which cover
the Group’s regulatory requirements. The selected candidate will join this team in the implementation of policies,
procedures, systems and controls related to financial crime, as those are articulated by local, EU and International
regulations and applicable industry standards. Based on its background, the candidate may apply for the position of

Description
- Ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations and directives issued pursuant to the Prevention of Money
- Overseeing the Financial Crime Compliance processes in line with Bank’s standards and regulatory obligations
- Delivering and completing the Compliance Monitoring Plan in assessing the effectiveness of processes and
- Delivering and completing the AML Reports to submit to the NBB and other authorities
- Contributing to the investigation and resolution of client control and transaction monitoring alerts
- Interacting and collaborating with other departments on Financial Crime Compliance related issues and enquiries
- Providing ongoing input and/or feedback on the processes and tools, with the aim to improve the efficiency of
- Assisting in requests for information and documentation received from the FIU, Police Authorities, Court
- Maintaining comprehensive and timely reporting on AML risk and standards implementation, following internal
- Communicating guidelines in a clear and understandable way, be able to understand the bank’s standards and to
regarding compliance with applicable AML regulations
- Preparing, revising and implementing systems and documentation required to comply with the applicable AML
- Participating in relevant risk and compliance committees and working groups when treating AML topics
- Taking part to the drafting and the execution of the Compliance Action and Monitoring plans, especially for AML
- Ensuring that the Bank has adequate anti-money laundering policies and procedures
- Monitoring of account openings and transactions and ensure suspicious activities are investigated where
- Other duties as may be determined from time to time by the Head of Compliance/Board Risk & Compliance
Your profile
- Master’s degree in economics, Law, Finance, or Business Engineering
- Effective verbal and written communication in French, Dutch, and English languages
- Certification in Compliance, AML/CFTP will be considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and escalate identified risks to management and exercise
- Proven ability of working on own initiative and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability of managing priorities within tight deadlines
- Proven ability to learn and adapt to a changing environment
