Gestionnaire de Budget

Our client active in the insurance sector is looking for a Budget Manager in Brussels.


  • Collecting budgetary information from a number of contacts (IT and Business Management, Project Managers, DPMO, etc.) in order to establish the IT budget for the next 3 years
  • Record throughout the year the modifications impacting this budget (transfer, budgetary derogation...) in order to have the revised budget available at any time
  • Verify the presence of an available budget before any order validation or identify a budgetary solution with the applicant in other cases
  • Process all the invoices relating to your scope and add the information (cost centre, order number, budget line, etc.) required for their accounting.
  • Establish monthly the provisions to be loaded in SAP
  • Contact each contact person monthly in order to refine/challenge the forecasts for the year for the entire perimeter.
  • Check the figures entered in SAP and make correction requests if necessary.
  • Analyze the figures and report in detail to several bodies
  • Control and monitor the evolution of internal and external IT staffing according to demand and budget
  • Handle administrative activities related to new applications, renewals, changes of assignment and terminations of external staff
  • Resolve problems related to the encoding of external timesheets in SAP and the payment of their invoices

Your profile

  • You have a Master degree (economics, finance,..) or equivalent experience in a similar function (min 5 years)
  • You have a good knowledge of French and Dutch
  • You are an almost expert user of excel and powerpoint
  • You are familiar with accounting principles (cost and general accounting)
  • You are rigorous, stress resistant and able to challenge the team
  • You have a good analytical capacity and you have a good command of numbers
  • Knowledge of SAP and reporting systems such as SAS is a plus
