PDRA Middle Office Analyst

Global Operations Services (GOS) is responsible for handling and monitoring all services, in order that the Portfolio Managers are able to manage daily their portfolios.

The Trade Support team is part of the GOS team which has responsibility for providing excellence in support to Investments teams across an array of instrument ranging from OTC ,Listed , Funds of Funds to Private Debt and Real Assets .

The Trade Support function specifically provides assistance and expertise for the outsourced trade support process, ensuring accurate position keeping, coordinating internally with various stakeholders, investigating discrepancies and overall oversight of the outsourced activities. The Services under the team oversight include Dealing Services activities , Middle Office Services , Derivatives Clearing and Custodians

Description

As PDRA Middle Office Analyst, you are responsible for:

FRONT OFFICE SUPPORT :
  • To provide specialist support to portfolio managers of Private Debt and Real Estate Investment team, Perform portfolio lifecycle maintenance with regard to portfolio related cash flows (coupons and paydowns).
  • Transaction Management :
Ensure proper trade entry into the front office systems
Reconciliation of economics and legal documentation
Ensure timely settlement of transactions
Supervision of outsourced Trade Support activities
  • Position Keeping : Provide correct and valued positions and cash to Front-Office
  • Accounting :
Provide oversight of service quality and accuracy of records of the (third party) fund accountants and trustee
Ensure timely and proper booking of transactions in back-office systems
Ensure NAV calculated by external provider is correct
  • Events Management on Vehicles :
Coordinate and Control
Coupons payments : Calculation and control of the quarterly waterfalls payments
Funds distribution level
Capital calls
Amortizations
  • Client Reporting : provide accurate reporting to clients
  • Day-to-day Support to Front Office
ESCALATION :
  • Timely escalation of trade discrepancies to the counterparty, front office and/or legal, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Ad hoc Private / Global Credit / CDO / FCPE fund related tasks.
  • Data maintenance relating to syndicated and private loans instruments
KEY INTERNAL / EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
  • Internal: all ITO teams involved in transactional chain, project teams, Portfolio managers
  • External: Custodians, external service providers, clearers, other entities

Your profile

  • University degree in finance or economics or equivalent by experience.
Technical competences
  • Good knowledge of English and one or more other languages (ideally French; and the national language(s) of the country where the role is based).
  • Knowledge of financial products and financial products transaction processing workflows
  • Knowledge of internal procedures related to and governing the relevant scope of activities
  • Good knowledge of basic IT tools (MS Office XL, MS Outlook, …). Knowledge of VBA is a plus.
