Inside Sales

As Inside Sales you are responsible for the daily internal sales activities of the Business Unit Advanced Materials.
For this you work closely together with Account Managers. You will report to the Business Unit Manager.


To strengthen the Benelux team we are looking for a new colleague Inside Sales for our client in Mechelen.
  • You will provide broad support to the Business Unit in maintaining and expanding the existing business with customers and suppliers;
  • You take care of and supervise the administrative process of price calculations, quotation preparation and sample requests in consultation with the Account Manager;
  • You follow up on quotations and sample requests;
  • You manage documentation and product information;
  • You discover new opportunities with customers and actively contribute to the optimization of the service;
  • You are the contact person for existing and potential customers regarding operational matters;
  • You watch over the stock management and the follow-up of the purchase;
  • You coordinate the communication between the Business Unit and Customer Service;
  • You check credit limits of customers and stock limits;
  • You are aware of the current procedures of the quality assurance system and the applicable laws and regulations.
  • You ensure strict compliance with the procedures of the quality assurance system.
  • You act as the contact person for existing and potential customers regarding operational matters;

Your profile

  • The ideal candidate for this dynamic position has a Bachelor's degree, is independent, stress-resistant and has a hands-on mentality.
  • You are communicatively strong and have a good command of the Dutch and English languages. French is definitely a plus!
  • You are fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Powerpoint).
  • Thanks to your proactive attitude, you will quickly become the crucial link in the team. In addition, you have a critical eye which means you are always alert to possible opportunities and improvements in our processes.
  • The challenge lies in the fast and accurate processing of information in our system and connecting with other departments (Customer Service, Account Managers) and customers, in writing, by telephone and digitally.
  • Together with your colleagues and using your commercial flair, you will ensure that the entire process - large or small - with our customers runs smoothly and successfully.
