Purchase Officer

Our client active in the Real Estate sector is looking for a Purchase Officer.


For one of our clients in the real estate sector, we are currently looking for a Purchase Officer.

Your responsibilities:
  • Management of purchase invoices (invoices / credit notes / insurance premiums / roll extract of different taxes / ...);
  • Main point of contact with external suppliers and internal colleagues (email, telephone, face to face, ...);
  • Ensuring the rational optimization of the incoming invoices' routing;
  • Ensure the control and posting of documents in SAP;
  • Ensure the follow-up of purchase orders: validations / acknowledgement of receipt
  • Prepare payment files
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of supplier accounts so that they remain clean and clear (cleaning of accounts)
  • Verify compliance with legal requirements (recipient, contact details, VAT to be applied, etc.)
  • Understand the complexity of the real estate world in order to be able to use the right tax codes;
  • Responsible for the application of the correct VAT rate at encoding;
  • Assist the accountants during the monthly closings;.

Your profile

  • You have a very good knowledge of French / Dutch;
  • Experience in a comparable function for at least 3 years;
  • Computer tools: Word / Excel / Outlook / SAP
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and VAT;
  • Good knowledge of supplier accounting;
  • You are organized, structured, meticulous and conscientious;
  • Ability to assimilate information relatively quickly;
  • Respect for the procedures in place in the organisation and the department
  • Ease of communication (telephone, face to face, emails...)
  • Have an analytical mind
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Respect for deadlines
