OTC Pricing Analyst

Global Operations Services (GOS) is responsible for handling and monitoring all services, in order that the Portfolio Managers are able to manage daily their portfolios.

The role of the different Position Keeping teams (Corporate Actions, Reconciliation & Control, Pricing Listed and OTC, Portfolio Processing Support and Collateral Management) within GOS is essential to ensure that valued positions are correctly reflected in the position keeping tools, meaning they should be accurate and in line with service providers and client expectations.

The pricing team team for listed and OTC products, is part of the scope within GOS.

In your role as Pricing Analyst OTC, you are responsible for understanding & calculation of the valuation (Mark To Market + analytics) process of all OTC instruments. On top of this, you ensure daily support for production of OTC valuation /controls and provide support to business (Front Office, Risk...) and set up the OTC instruments in the database.


Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the accurate daily production of the OTC Prices
  • Check of market data inputs from internal and external sources and ensure they are correctly updated
  • Collect valuations from counterparties
  • Make the internal calculation and run all the required price checks
  • Investigate discrepancies in the pricing and explain the gaps using your knowledge of the models
  • Ensure the delivery of the OTC prices to downstream systems and external clients (e.g. fund accountants)
  • Security Master Database: Set up the OTC security in the security master database within a specific time frame to allow the fund manager to trade on the market.( 30 minutes)
  • Follow up of any issue around OTC Prices and provide the end users with consistent and structured answers.
  • Active role in development and implementation of new valuation processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the team's processes.
  • Produce accurate financial data on request and report independently with minimal supervision.
  • Act as a back-up for other team members

  • External: Data providers, auditors, regulators

Your profile

Essential qualifications & experience
  • University degree in finance or economics or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience in the field of Operations (depending on function level).
Essential skills/competencies (TEchnical / behavioural / leadership)

Technical competences:
  • Good knowledge of English and one or more other languages (ideally French; and the national language(s) of the country where the role is based).
  • Excellent knowledge of financial products, especially OTC products,
  • Good knowledge of basic IT tools (MS Office XL, MS Outlook, VBA, …) and of specific IT applications used in daily activities
