Description
- You are responsible for the claims files from their opening to their closing;
- You evaluate and manage the claims files independently;
- You will handle the files in a rigorous manner and ensure a precise follow-up in order to close them quickly and efficiently;
- You maintain professional communication with clients (individuals and SMEs/independent) and support them in the follow-up of their files;
- You keep yourself informed about the evolution of the general conditions as well as the Belgian legislation regarding insurance matters;
- You ensure the administrative follow-up of the files;
- You mandate the experts and ensure the follow-up of the reports;
- You will be responsible for potential appeals and their follow-up;
- You will ensure the relationship with the (co)insurers for certain specific files;
- Achieving the qualitative and quantitative objectives assigned;
- Reporting to the director;
- You will be the point of contact between clients, experts and insurance companies;
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably) with a legal or insurance orientation. OR THEN you have the equivalent in proven professional experience and you have the PCP;
- You have at least 2 years of successful experience in a similar position in an insurance company (non-life insurance);
- You have an excellent knowledge of French and basic knowledge of Dutch;
- You have a solid legal and operational knowledge of all P&C risk coverages;
- You have an excellent knowledge of French and basic Dutch; You have a sound legal and operational knowledge of all P&C risk coverages; You are professionally aware and able to assess the risks of different situations;
- You are rigorous and have a good analytical mind;
- Autonomous and flexible, you know how to best organise your working hours, taking into account the imperatives of the job;
- Calm and composed, you have good social skills, you know how to build and maintain a network of contacts effectively;
- You are dynamic and proactive;
- You have a good command of Brio software.
